Releasing Toxic People

We would do ourselves a tremendous favor by letting go of the people who poison our spirit. – Dr. Steve Maraboli

There are times we may hold on to toxic people because we love and wish to help them. However, love also means accepting we cannot change anyone (unless there is a willingness to change) and wish them well.

Setting boundaries, and letting go of someone who suppresses our spirit and enjoyment of life is extending love to ourselves, and to those we release from our lives.

As we let go, we are no longer enabling the toxic exchange.
